Introducing Co-Host and Mother of the Host with the Most
Yvonne Edwards
We’re proud to introduce Yvonne Edwards, co-host of A Million Memories Charity Concert and mum to our event organiser, Zoe Pniewski.
Yvonne is a dedicated supporter of Zoe and her business, and together they share a deep passion for music, performance, and community.
As one half of the Generations Singing Duo, Yvonne has performed alongside Zoe at numerous charity concerts and local events, and was a member of COS Musical Theatre (formerly Crawley Operatic Society), where their love for musicals and the stage continues to thrive.
Yvonne enjoys meeting up with Zoe weekly to chat all things events over a good cuppa or two—usually involving lots of laughter and creative brainstorming!
When she’s not planning or performing, she’s indulging in her hobbies: LEGO building with her husband, Paul, watching classic films, reading, and enjoying the occasional holiday either with Paul or Zoe.
After years of hard work in various roles from local councils and dry cleaners to dinner supervisor at Zoe’s primary school Yvonne is now happily embracing retirement while remaining actively involved in the things she loves.
This concert holds a very special place in Yvonne’s heart. It’s dedicated to the memory of her beloved mum, Olive (Zoe’s nan), who passed away in 2023, and the date of the event carries deep personal significance for the family.
While Yvonne may not quite match Zoe’s Take That fandom, she’s seen The Take That Experience perform many times and always enjoys the show.
Her musical tastes span Neil Sedaka, Barry Manilow, The Jersey Boys, Simply Red, Rod Stewart, and The Eagles, proving her love for timeless tunes runs deep.
Passionate, creative, and kind-hearted, Yvonne brings warmth and heart to this very special event.
Yvonne is looking forward to working with all of the Team involved in this wonderful Charity Concert and hopes it raises a lot of money for the charity and awareness of this awful condition.
