Mother & Daughter Singing Duo – From Stage to Sussex
Have you heard about the mother-daughter duo, Generations?
They are a talented singing duo with over 30 years of experience in performing and entertaining audiences. Their love for singing and performing began long ago, with Yvonne, Zoe’s mother, being a member of the Crawley Operatic Society in the 80s and 90s. Later, Zoe joined the same group and even performed the same role in Carousel that her mum did 20 years earlier. Talk about family talent!
Their love for singing has even passed down to the next generation, with Zoe’s young son performing at their Charity Fundraisers and belonging to a local theatre group with his love of Musical Theatre.
Generations Singing 4 Change
Generations is hosting a new charity event in 2025 and hopes to host one once a year to raise money for various charities in and around the local area. Last year, they co-hosted and performed at a Charity Fundraiser called Music Makes Memories, raising money for Dementia Support, and the whole evening was a huge success with over £932.00 in donations on the night.
But that’s not all, they have recorded two of their CDs in private recording sessions at studios in Tunbridge Wells, and they love to get together once a week to rehearse new material to add to their expanding repertoire. They are both versatile in what they sing, and it can vary from a musical selection to a bit of pop and rock or country.
