Say Hello and Welcome!

🎫 Meet the Reception & Tech Team – Paul Edwards & Jan Pniewski 💡

As the A Million Memories Charity Concert edges closer, we’re continuing our behind-the-scenes spotlight with two of the incredible people who will be working hard to keep things running smoothly on the night: Paul Edwards and Jan Pniewski.

This dynamic duo is not just part of the event team, they’re family.

👋 Welcome Guests with a Smile: Paul Edwards

Paul Edwards, proud dad of our host Zoe Pniewski, will be the first friendly face you see when you arrive at Pagham Village Hall on Saturday, 30th May 2026.

Paul will be managing our reception desk, handling everything from ticket checks and wristbands to selling programmes, all with his trademark charm and quiet efficiency.

Now enjoying retirement after a globe-trotting career that included roles with industry giants like Hewlett-Packard and BT, Paul has swapped corporate offices for more creative pastimes. These days, he and his wife Yvonne (our fabulous co-host) can often be found building LEGO, solving puzzles, and planning the next family getaway.

A long-time supporter of Zoe’s work, Paul is proud to be part of this special event, especially one that means so much to both Zoe and Yvonne. He may not be quite as Take That-obsessed as his daughter, but he’s more than happy to help bring her vision to life for such an important cause.

🔧 Tech Support with Heart: Jan Pniewski

While Paul handles the front of house, Jan Pniewski—Zoe’s husband—will be working his magic behind the scenes as our lighting and sound technician.

Jan brings years of tech experience to the table, currently working in the veterinary software industry, developing technology that helps vets diagnose and care for pets. But when it comes to Zoe’s events, Jan is the go-to guy for everything tech-related, from setting up sound systems to fine-tuning lighting for maximum effect.

Jan and Zoe have been married for over 11 years and share a 10-year-old son (who also happens to be a budding Take That fan). While Jan’s own taste leans more towards folk—think Bellowhead and Hazel O’Connor—he’s always first to volunteer when Zoe needs support at her events.

Outside of concerts and cables, Jan gives his time to the Cat & Rabbit Rescue Centre, where he’s volunteered every Sunday for over 15 years. At home, the family includes two black cats, Bobby and Loki, and two guinea pigs, Daphne and Velma—just a typical day in the Pniewski household!

Calm, reliable, and quietly working in the background, Jan is the steady hand that ensures everything goes to plan on the night.

Together, Paul and Jan are the perfect blend of front-of-house friendliness and backstage brilliance—and we’re so lucky to have them both as part of the A Million Memories team.

Stay tuned as we continue to introduce more of the wonderful people bringing this special night to life in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. 💜
