Happy Chinese New Year – Year of the Dragon 2024

This year is a celebration year of the Dragon.

It begins on February 10th 2024 and as tradition, Chinese people will get 8 days off to celebrate the beginning of their lunar year.

A Dragon in Chinese culture and tradition represents auspiciousness and imperial power. It also symbolises dignity, health, honour, success strength and luck.

I am born in the Year of the Rooster. Roosters represent fidelity and punctuality. However, according to sources we can represent a picky and aggressive nature, liking the finer details and paying close attention to the appearances as well as actions of themselves and others. We are dependant and hardworking too which is ideal for the role of an Event Planner.

What Chinese animal are you born under? The Twelve Animals are:

rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig

Each animal represents different qualities and you can find out online which one you are as each year is represented by a different Chinese animal.
